The Seventies saw massive inflation world wide mainly caused by the Oil Crisis in
the Middle East.
In the 1970s also, the Vietnam War ended and the Cold War got colder. After nearly
10 years of war, allied forces pulled out of Vietnam.
The 70's were the start in many ways of the Electronics and digital revolution.The
decade saw Digital Technology for the first time in consumer products, including the
first calculator. It also saw the beginning of the Home Computer, due to Intel
creating the first cheap microprocessor.
